This is what happens when you leave me alone with a camera. I’ve been digging through the old footage to make a blooper reel (something I’ve always said I’d do but never actually wound up following through on) and I found this gem. Basically 8 minutes of me saying the same lines over and over in different ways, and getting progressively more idiotic in the process.

The original footage was for our Nesquik contest entry, one that never even made it into the contest. Bah. I hope you enjoy Daddy Burglar going at it with the camera!

I just uploaded the two remaining Lewis the Womanizer interviews with Jean Claude. I also uploaded an Xtranormal video that I made a week or two ago as an experiment. I think I’ll drop the $10 and buy some more characters and scenes. They’re pretty sweet.

The only down side was that the State software, which allows you to make the videos on your own computer, encrypted the exported video file so I couldn’t edit it myself and add titles. Of course I figured this out after spending 30 minutes creating HD titles for it. Bah… humbug!

Well, update it is more like it. To WordPress 3.0, we’ll see how that goes. I’m currently backing everything up and then I’ll update and we’ll see what happens. It’s kind of my little experiment to see how things go and if it explodes all over the interwebs with failure.

I have a few more videos to post, mostly Lewis ones but I haven’t had time as I’m prepping to leave the country. I’ll get to it. And if I’m lucky I’ll film a music video or two before saying goodbye to Live Charge forever. I hope someone out there has enjoyed my terrible videos, but at least I’ve kept myself entertained over the past two years.

Time to kick it up a notch. Feel like the jerk across the room is gonna try and steal your dame? No problem, just use Jean Claude’s latest trick to get that loser off your back. Or out of the game entirely.

Lewis the Womanizer – Interview with a Genius

It’s hard to imagine that Lewis actually learned from someone better at womanizing than himself, but it’s true. He did. In this video he summarizes his travels as he searched for himself, and discovered many new abilities. He also introduces and interviews his mentor who gives some handy tips on how to strike up a conversation with a woman at a birthday party.

There is a lot more stuff on the way. Cody and I managed to film some narration for what I’ll be calling the “Impressionist Tales” this weekend between dance parties and early mornings. He’s back to the Navy for flight school now, so outside of those you won’t be seeing him in any videos for a while… sad.

Lewis the Womanizer: The Hair Caress

I’m going out of chronological order here, but who cares? I’ll get the iSaber 4 post up at some point. I’d like to do some more in-depth blogs on some of the videos that required more special effects work so I’m putting that one off.

Anyways, Lewis is back with some advice on a technique he likes to call the “Hair Caress.” Guaranteed to prevent or mend those awkward silences we all hate so much.

We’ll get to the pickup lines soon enough. We filmed about 7 Lewis-oriented shorts on Sunday so be checking back regularly for more in the very near future.
